Welcome to Kaplan International College Adelaide.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to this exciting new chapter of your life. This is your first step towards your undergraduate or postgraduate study at Adelaide University.
Our College Services team are here to ensure you are supported throughout your time at the College and can assist you with program advice, information about campus events, transitioning to the University, and your accommodation options.
About 2 weeks before your orientation, you will receive an email with information on how to register and set up your student account as well as dates of your orientation sessions. If you do not receive your orientation email before your program begins or have any questions, please contact us.
What will I do at orientation?
Orientation is compulsory and will occur in the week before your course start date. Your Orientation program consists of two parts.
Part One
Part one is an online unit where you will learn all the essential information for a smooth start in your studies and settling into Adelaide. It is compulsory for you to read and complete the quizzes at the end of each section.
By going online and using your learning management software called MyUni, you can learn all the information at your own pace (before the deadline). MyUni plays a key role in how you will engage with our course content and communicate with your teachers during your time at the College and the University.
Part Two
Part two is an in-person session where you will meet key academic and support staff, as well as representatives from organisations who provide support services to international students. You will get to meet your classmates and learn more about the campus and the wider Adelaide city area. We will also visit some of Adelaide's most popular visitor destinations, such as Adelaide Zoo and the Botanic Gardens.

Late arrivals
If you cannot commence by the start date on your offer letter for reasons beyond your control, please email us. In your email, provide a reason for the late start and the date you will be able to begin classes. Arrivals are usually not allowed after the first week of classes, but we can work with you to find a suitable start date.
